Freedom Request Letter

Over the years at Singing Water Vineyards, we have had the privilege and honor to meet you,  the many active military men and women who serve in our armed forces.  You have come from every branch of the service;  you have come in all ages and in various capacities.  You have come with your special girlfriend or boyfriend, spouse, your parents and your friends.  We have almost come to recognize you as you walk in by your short hair, your respectful  introduction but mostly by the presence you carry.
You have shared your stories and your dedication to our country.  Sometimes your stories are funny.  Sometimes they are painful.  Sometimes, your story is shared with us by a loved one, because you are no longer here.  Always, they make a huge impression on us.  You make us so proud of you and proud to be an American.

We are adding a new room (in progress) to the winery.  We want to call it the FREEDOM ROOM.  We would be so honored if you would send us your picture in uniform with or without your family.  We would also like you to include your name, rank, branch of service and what you do.  We want to connect with you not just in name, but with faces and places.  We want everyone to know how you are fighting for our freedom.  We want to pray for your safety.

We welcome all branches, active and retired, living or deceased from any time period.

We will be celebrating Freedom again with our second Freedom Day on November 12th, 2011.  We  invite all our friends and customers to come celebrate and honor our brave men and women who sacrifice to keep our country free.
